Welcome back to another episode of Oil and Gas This week. You're listening to episode 127. What's up, Mike? What's up, Jake? Oh, man, you know, just enjoying this week. How about you? Yeah, it's, yeah, we've been super busy. Our apologies, this is our first Friday Q&A, which should have came out last week. We got so busy. We couldn't get it out until now. But it's still some really good questions. And like I said, we're as an organization, OGGN is working on bringing some resources so that Jake and I have more time so we can actually get episodes out on time. So just bear with us. I mean, and we'll promise you we'll start getting to a release and episodes on a regular basis.

Before we do anything else, Jake, I want to jump into reviews.

0:57.9

So if you want to support the show, if you want to help us, the best thing you can do is leave us a review, right?

1:03.9

Here's a great one by D. By E. DeLone from USA.

1:09.0

Unfortunately, I had to leave the oil and gas industry about two months ago.

1:11.5

I spent at least five years in an R&D facility developing a product for MPD applications.

1:16.8

Regardless of the volatility that I had experienced, I enjoyed my time engineering a drilling tool.

1:21.2

I can say listening to this podcast had given me the insight into the health of this industry.

1:25.3

I usually like to read everything I can get my hands on, but this podcast is very good in capture and convey in what is really important. Until now, even though I'm back in the aerospace industry, I still listen to this podcast for my interest. Thank you very much. So big shout out. Please, if you want to leave us review, we would love for you to do it. It takes a couple of minutes and you'll get a shout out in the beginning of the show great jump into questions jake let's do it and lay marce said this is first friday q and a so you guys ask the questions and we provide you with answers so uh mark you want to take the first one yep this is from brian i'm sorry brimma butcher your last name mangott i believe um he's a directional drillie and he used to work for Baker. And so

he starts off the question, I wonder if your guys would be brave enough to question Baker Hughes

2:07.1

ethics and morals. The rest of his question is talking about what happened to the BP

2:12.5

Macondo disaster and he's and there's a lot of pointing fingers at Baker Hughes here.

2:18.3

I don't want to read the entire thing, Jake.

2:21.3

I just want people to know out there that, you know, we do read questions.

2:25.3

We do try to cover everything from both sides.

2:28.3

When we get stuff like this that gets very accusatory,

2:32.3

since we weren't there and we don't know what the truth is, although I do know a lot about the BP Maconda disaster, I don't want to take a chance of spreading this truth. So you can always send us a question. We will read it on the air when it's something that we're not comfortable with like this one. We still want to get to the bottom of it. So Brian, if you want to reach out to me directly, I'd love to carry this conversation off the podcast, and let me understand what's going on here. But there is a lot of copability from a lot of companies with BP Macondo disaster, and I'm telling you, Jake, I know for a fact has changed a lot of companies for the better. So, you know, Brian, feel free to reach out to me. I'd love to continue this conversation offline. All right, cool. So up next, we have a question from Anthony McDaniels. He's the founder, CEO, Vera Petro. Found you guys recently. Seems like a great podcast based on the first part of your most recent episode. I just wanted to reach out and see if we could communicate and possibly get a dialogue going as to a fairly new company found it to address the lack of oil and gas industry advancement. So I guess he wants a plug. Yes. Well, I don't know about that. So I've reached out to Anthony, him and I exchange in emails. I will tell you this much, Anthony, a period in this paragraph would have been good or two. But it's a great question. We get this quite often. If you're a company out there and you want some exposure and you think we can help you, just reach out to us. If it makes sense, we will help you. If you have a good story to tell, if you have a good, genuine, useful story to tell to our All Against the audience, we'll help you tell the story. So Anthony, you know, you and I are trading emails. We'll get caught up on this. And if we can help you, we'll be happy to do so. Cool. Next one is from Adam at ROX Exploration. He writes, guys, love the podcast. One quick question. Kall up Jake's volume on the podcast. Mark is so loud and clear jake not so much thanks uh i
