In our previous episode, we heard how on November 15, 1972, the IRA had landed its first ever consignment of weapons from Colonel Gaddafi.

We had to strip out the interior of the plane to accommodate the shipment.

After an aborted attempt to land into Farrinfor Airport, this plane arrived into Shannon Airport
