God values and responds to the prayers of his people.

So don't stop praying.

Don't stop praying for your lost friend.

Don't stop praying for your own family.

Don't stop praying for that need that you're living with.

Don't stop praying for your friend or son or daughter who may be away.

Keep praying. In order to be a loving God, he must also be a just God.

Most of us like the loving part. We love his role as a Heavenly Father, but we

bristle at the fairness part because we're not fond of receiving punishment.

Today on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall is teaching from Revelation Chapter 8.

In this passage, we read a shocking forecast of the punishment coming to those who've defied

God.

Let's pick up the study in Revelation chapter 8, beginning at verse 3.

First Blasts of the Trumpet Plagues. Thanks.

Just before we have the awful blasts of the trumpets, we have a preparation for judgment in the verses. Look closely.

Another angel came, this would not be one of the seven, this is an eighth angel,

came and stood at the altar holding a golden censor and much incense was given to him

so that he might add it to the prayers of all the Saints on the golden altar which was before the throne and

the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the Saints he repeats went up before
