don't have the authority to do it. And they just sort of try to do a thing and suggest that

everybody should go along with it because they are they and they tried to do the thing. This is

about your president. And yesterday on Monday, August the 25th,

Donald Trump attempted to fire the only black woman

to ever serve as a member of the Federal Reserve.

Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook

was informed yesterday via Donald Trump's social media platform

that basically he did not like her

and that he wanted to get rid of her. And frankly, that wasn't news to anybody who's been paying attention. He has said a lot of things about individual members of the Federal Reserve, usually aiming his ire and his ultimate frustration for Jerome Powell, who, although his name sounds very, very black in my mind when I first heard Jerome Powell, I was like, oh, it's a brother.

It's not a brother. He's an older white man, but he's an older white man that the other older white man in this story, Donald Trump, absolutely cannot stand.

Because the chair of the Federal Reserve basically can't be fired by Donald Trump, even though Donald Trump really wants to fire him.

And mainly because there's a disagreement as to what the economic policy should look like as it pertains to interest rates.

And Jerome Powell and the members of the Federal Reserve, who are actual economists, disagree with Donald Trump, who has the economic legal capacity of an income poop.

Yeah, I think he's the economic level of equivalent of an income poop. Definitely,

definitely that. But Lisa Cook is the only black woman to have served on the board. And Donald Trump

basically posted one of his little social media rants that said, he's firing her immediately.

But he ain't got no, he ain't got no approval to fire her. She's unfireable, particularly

because there's no cause here, even though he says that he has the authority to remove

governors for cause. He actually cited to a piece of legislation that he claims he has authority
