Summary

Just in time to honor the 4th of July and America's independence, Sarah loses affordable health care and protections for disabled and vulnerable loved ones. All thanks to a bill that was passed while Sarah recorded this episode. She discusses RHOA's finale, the ways Charles and Angela view trust, whether Phaedra was behind Marcus' declaration about Charles, Brit's offensive moves against Kelli and Shamea, Drew’s comedic timing, an evolution on Next Gen NYC, and Kristen's happy ending (not that kind!). Plus, what July 4 means for the Galli family. The only deep dive Sarah reccs is talking Housewives for hours on end - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 682! Today the movement has more than 44,000 members.  NewGround: a Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change: NewGround envisions an America where Muslims and Jews and others, both secular and religious, model lasting partnerships and engagement in authentic communication and mutual cooperation. The organization empowers Muslims, Jews and allies to bridge divisions and leverage shared values to strengthen our communities and our fragile democracy.  Standing Together: Standing Together  is a progressive grassroots movement mobilizing Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel against the occupation and for peace, equality, and social justice. We know that the majority have far more in common than that which sets us apart and only a tiny minority benefits from the status quo. The future that we want — peace and independence for Israelis and Palestinians, full equality for everyone in this land, and true social, economic, and environmental justice — is possible. Solutions Not Sides: Solutions Not Sides has been teaching skills of empathy, active listening, communication, critical thinking and conflict resolution through exploration of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict since 2010. Our programme is based on three key values: non-violence, equality for all, and the rejection of hatred. Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF): PCRF is the primary humanitarian organization in Palestine, delivering crucial and life-saving medical relief and humanitarian aid where it is needed most. Access to essential resources like food, clean water, and healthcare is severely limited. Urgent action is needed. With your support, we can continue this vital work, ensuring that the over one million children of Gaza receive the urgent care they need and deserve. https://www.pcrf.net/ Learn more about your ad choices. . You guys, it's Andy Skarls, an Independence Day spectacular. I'm recording this in Rhode Island where I am here spending some time with family at July 4, not a great day for the galley fam, which I've gotten into previously on AG, and I'll circle back to that on this episode. But in the meantime, okay, so I have spent the day recording this on

0:57.0

Thursday. I've spent the day catching up on Bravo. I had watched the Valley before leaving

1:02.5

Rhode Island. And I think I am one of many people who was seriously verclimped about Kristen's

1:09.3

engagement, which I thought was genuinely so sweet, so

1:14.4

lovely. In the era of wearing shoulder pads to the beach for a proposal, you know, people are

1:22.2

absolutely surprised by. It was honestly really lovely to see someone who seemed sincerely shocked about the

1:32.3

proposal happening, happening at that moment. Just really, I genuinely was so emo about it and also

1:40.1

her swearing and then be like so sorry for saying fuck like it was genuinely a lovely

1:46.9

lovely episode um and something that really i think kind of was a nice respite from a lot of

1:55.5

darkness this season some much much needed light um honestly even the stuff that was like driving me a little nutty a la Janet felt like a nice little bit of a staycation from the jacks of it all and had some like LOL moments.

2:12.2

So there were some highs and lows on Bravo this week.

2:15.3

I have to say also, and I'll get into more about

2:18.0

the Valley and NextGen on another episode, but I really remain, like, no disrespect to

2:26.2

next gen, but I'm almost befuddled by how much I'm enjoying this show. Not just that. I mean,

2:32.7

it genuinely is like entertaining content, which I

2:36.5

absolutely assumed it would not be. I kind of took the idea of this show with the smallest

2:45.7

grain of salt. And my body needs every ounce of sodium it can get. But there was just something about it

2:51.9

that just felt like, oh, it's an opportunity to like monetize the next generation of housewives,

2:57.4

i.e. their kids, but it's going to feel forced and dumb. And what has been so surprising to me
