Summary

With the New Year approaching, Dennis warns against making a resolution to “find yourself.” Don’t ask, “Who am I?” A better question is, “Who do I want to be?” That would be a great thing to work on this coming year to help you face challenges, be courageous, and become a better person. Hi everybody, Dennis Prager here, coaxing auto to stay at least for the very first moments.

0:06.9

We've just been bribing him with some food. Oh, he hasn't moved.

0:16.0

Thank you, auto. Hi everybody, once again, fireside chat.

0:20.7

269. 269.

0:23.1

So some thoughts at the end of the year, people take New Year's resolutions.

0:31.1

I think New Year's resolutions are important, even if you break them and most people do break them.

1:40.7

certain things to do, whatever it might be, whether it's exercise or reading or travel, I don't know

1:50.3

what people make all sorts of resolutions. So I think they're valuable. The idea that, well,

1:57.2

you'll break it anyway, why make them is not a tenable argument in my opinion for reasons I just

2:04.6

offered. Anyway, I want to, want to offer you a thought that I could obviously spend hours on

2:13.3

and have on things that any one of us can do to make ourselves better through some resolution.

2:22.4

But I want to offer one overriding thought and then maybe I'll, depending on the time factor

2:28.4

before I take your questions, I'll, I'll give you some other thoughts. So a lot of people say it
