Hi everybody welcome to FireSight Chat number 237. Now you might be wondering how for the first time in 237 of them that I know the number. Actually I knew it number one as well. Now let me think of it.

Anyway welcome to the FireSight Chat so I do 52 of these a year. My chance to talk to you completely spontaneously and take your questions and it's a wonderful experience. I hope for you and certainly it is for me.

On about six occasions a year so 46 it's just you and me or really I don't know if just gets me or I it's just you and I or just you and me.

I'm thinking out loud I love grammar which drives people crazy. In any event about six times I have a very special guest. If they're not special we figure it's better to stick to the old formula of just you and I or you and me.

And I do have one this time as well where we get a chance to have what they now call long form interview dialogue interview with someone this is auto of course America's most famous dog and as I often tell you what has not gone to his head.

And by the way last week I was in Chicago giving a speech and a lot of people came over you'll get a kick out of this came over with the auto tales book and asked that I sign it.

And I signed each one on behalf of auto Dennis Prager.

On occasion by the way you'll get another bigger kick out of this and then of course I'll introduce you formally people have on occasion for whatever reason and I'm totally honored by it they will ask me to sign their Bible.

So I write this is where I got the auto idea I write on behalf of God Dennis Prager best wishes that is. I'd seem a bit odd to autograph the Bible like you the author.

A lot of funny things happen in public life anyway my guest is professor Dave Arnett of the Dallas Baptist University terrific university which will hear a little more about obviously during our dialogue he is a professor of management who teaches economics I got that right didn't know.

Yes that's important his specialty I learned just about 20 minutes ago his original specialty was managing professional tennis players correct that's right how many people know that no not very yes including your students I suspect exactly I think you should let them know I it could only enhance your credibility with them.

I love people who have varied lives I had a blessed life Dennis really yeah well look I wouldn't expect you to know but my view is the gratitude is the greatest of the traits so that that's the first thing you expressed on our our fireside chat is speaks well of you.

So professor Arnett teaches again management with teachers economics in the parliament of management at the B. B. U. Dallas Baptist University and his specialty is religion and economics and that's really why he's here because there is so much confusion we both believe with regard to religion specifically we're talking Judeo Christian religions all the all the different religions that come out of.

Originally the Old Testament and of course the New Testament and a lot of people think that religion teaches people to take views that are called socialist progressive left wing whatever term you wish to use and I think it's a terrible misreading of the scriptures but this is really this man's field so welcome to the fireside chat.

That's right you know you must have this too though I'm six four years six four to have don't you have this it's weird to see somebody your height.

Yes looking a person in the eyes yes usual isn't it don't we don't know it's very odd for us yes I know there would be no way a normal person would know this.
