Hello everybody, welcome to today's Firelight Chat.

We're starting a series of conversations

where we will be talking about issues

related to my whole health plan.

The issue is not just how we're going to pay for healthcare.

For that, I definitely support Medicare for all,

but we need to do more than that.

We need to think about what I mentioned

on the debate stage in last time selection.

And that is that we have a sickness care system

more than a healthcare system.

We have a much higher rate of chronic illness

than they do in other advanced democracies.

We have to deal with the fact

that so many Americans are sick,

not just how we're going to treat them.

And so my whole health plan

involves a more holistic whole person aspect of healthcare

because it genuinely is healthcare.

We need to address the issues that are involved
