helpers truly are. The shadow creatures started moving towards the boys. Their forms slithering through

the woods like snakes on the ground. Owen and Ethan leapt into action, their newfound strength allowing them to fight back.

Owen grabbed a fallen tree trunk and swung it like a bat, scattering the creatures into the

mist, while Ethan picked up another tree trunk and lit the end of it with the campfire,

turning it into a massive torch that caused the shadows to scatter

into the darkness.

And the fireflies swirled around them.

They're like flickering like tiny sparks of courage.

And one by one, they darted toward the remaining shadow creatures, their glowing bodies piercing through the dark forms

and dissolving them with each strike.
