Once upon a time, there were two brothers named Owen and Ethan.

They lived in a house right at the edge of a huge forest that

stretched for miles. The boys had only ever walked a few hundred yards into the woods,

and the further they walked, the thicker the trees would get. But they always wondered

what hidden discoveries were concealed by those trees further and further

into the forest, and what secrets the woods might hold.

On one unusually starry night, Owen and Ethan were standing outside, looking up at the

sky when they noticed something strange.

Some of the stars were moving, not like planes or satellites

that steadily crossed the sky. These lights were dancing, swooping up and down and all around.

And as the brothers watched and wondered what was going on, the lights started getting lower and closer to the ground,

until both Owen and Ethan realized that these weren't stars at all. They were actually

fireflies, but these weren't like any fireflies they had ever seen before. Their lights were

brighter and they moved like they

had a purpose. Like they were trying to get Owen and Ethan's attention. A bunch of the fireflies

came and landed right on their shoulders. And Ethan almost thought he could hear a high-pitched

distant voice. And he strained to make out the words as one of the fireflies landed right by his ear.
