Two firefighters have been shot and killed,

and at least one has been injured while responding to a brush fire.

It happened yesterday afternoon on Canfield Mountain in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with authorities

believing the blaze was intentionally set by the gunmen, so they could ambush those responding.

Around 300 law enforcement officers from multiple agencies rushed to the scene, exchanging gunfire

with the suspect as the fires

continued to burn. By evening, the suspect was found dead near a weapon. They're believed

to be the only gunman. Bill Buelly from Cordillane Press told CNN, a procession has been

held for those killed and injured. Even after the procession was gone, people kept coming out to stand along the highway and hold their flags.
