Close your eyes and imagine sitting around a campfire with your friends and family.

The warm glow of the flames light up the night. Sparks dance upward, disappearing into the

starry sky. You feel the heat on your face as the fire crackles and pops. Someone is roasting

marshmallows and the sweet smell fills the air.

The fire keeps away the cold and makes the dark woods feel safe. It's a place to share

stories, cook food, and stay warm. Now imagine what life was like before people knew how to make fire.

A long time ago, before there were towns and cities, people

lived in small groups. They had no matches or lighters. They had to survive in the wild,

and nights were cold and dark. But one day, something amazing happened. Imagine humans from a very

long time ago, let's say a boy named Caro and his sister Lira walking

near their camp. Suddenly, they see smoke rising from the trees. They get closer and see a tree that

has been struck by lightning. It's burning. The flames scare them at first, but then they notice

something else. The fire is warm. It gives light. It keeps animals away.

Carefully, they gather sticks and branches to keep the fire going. They bring it back to their camp
