So I read something, believe it or not, about Chile recently that made me think, yeah,

yeah, why not? And what I read was the recently elected president of Chile, a guy whose name

is Gabriel Borick, is not married. He has a live-in. He has a girlfriend of a couple of years now. And

she's a rather well-educated woman, and they're both in their 30s. Anyway, she, her name is

Irina Caramanos. And Irina basically is the first lady of Chile.

And she doesn't want to be.

And I thought, yes, fire the first lady.

she can. There are a number of agencies that are essentially under her purview as first lady,

some foundations and museums and stuff like that or whatever. And so basically, she's making

phone calls to the heads of these agencies and saying, okay, let's put you under the proper government

ministry that handles this kind of thing and get you off the plate of the first lady.

And so I started doing some research about the U.S. First Lady.

And there is actually something called the Office of the First Lady.

Now, it wasn't always this way. The Office of the First

Lady was first federally funded in a bill, I think, that passed in 1977 and kicked in

in 1978. Before that, the activities of the First Lady were largely funded from the presidential
