And joining me today is our special guest, Elliot Gay, who is now back in the U.S. after having spent, what, five years in Japan? Yeah, five years, I guess a total of six, if you include college.

How's the U.S. treating you? How's the culture shock?

You know, it's not quite as bad as I expected. And I think part of that is because I was so used to coming home for the holidays.

I don't know, yeah, it's just, I guess in my mind, I am still in vacation mode, but the reality is that I'm just up here for the time being.

So, yeah, it's a little bizarre.

Yeah, I didn't come home at all when I was in Japan because my assumption was, you know, if I'm in Japan, you can come to me.

And you can have a cool Japanese vacation and stay at my place and I'll give you a tour rather than me spending god knows how much

money to fly back to the u.s yeah that's the best case scenario i think though there was one thing

that i missed while i was in japan and i craved it so much what was that taco bell yeah right it's

so bizarre and you tell people that here oh man I have the worst cravings for Taco Bell. And they look at you like you're crazy. And all you can say is you don't understand. You don't understand how much you miss it until it's gone. But then I came back and literally the first thing I did was go to Taco Bell and I had a burrito and I was like,

well, that was a mistake, which is another Taco Bell tradition.

Yep, never again. Exactly.

But then you always go back. You always go back.

But they're open so late and they're just right there and it's so cheap.
