In addition to the five universal priorities

at the core of some of the most famed spiritual

text I have mentioned in the introduction, a shared origin story of humanity also

persists, that of the breath of life.

While many truths have been corrupted by the individual and collective egos

and have at times been used to create separation and divisions throughout history,

the power of breath remains as a beacon for

unity in body and spirit. In many languages, the word for breath is the same word

used for soul, life and spirit too. The English word spirit is derived

from the Latin root spear, which means breath. In the Old Testament, Genesis chapter 2, verse 7, it is written.

Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,

and man became a living being.
