with over 25 years experience. In this episode, I am approaching the end of the first draft

of my second novel, and I wanted to talk to Sean about what it's going to look like to do

the editing between the first draft and the second draft and what's changed

with all the new Heroes Journey 2.0 stuff along with just what he's been learning.

And so we start stepping into that.

And I'm excited to have you listen to it.

And I'm excited to finish up this draft so that we can get to editing

the second draft and you can follow along. So let's jump in and get started. So Sean, last

week we went over the first half of my book and I was really happy that you just basically told me to keep writing.

So I have.

I'm crossed over 60,000 words yesterday.

And I feel like I've figured out what I'm doing for the rest of the middle build.

But I wanted to just start thinking through because since we did the threshing

and we went through the rounds of analyzing the drafts so that I could make fixes,

you've started, you know, you've done all of this work on this hero's journey 2.0,

which kind of incorporates, you know, not just the hero's journey, but genre and, you know,
