Summary

This week I want to discuss the importance of December as a crucial month for you to build momentum for the upcoming year. I'm challenging  the common perception of December as a throwaway month and instead encouraging you to seize the opportunity to finish strong. By maintaining high standards, setting clear goals, and focusing on personal growth, you can create a powerful foundation for the new year.

Hello, friends. Welcome to Level Up with Debbie Neal. I am your host. There is nowhere. I would rather be

0:09.8

than right here, right now with you. This podcast is all about leveling up in all aspects of our lives.

0:17.1

Thank you for being here. I am so grateful. I'm excited to be on this journey with you.

0:22.6

Together, we are leveling up. You ready?

0:31.8

Welcome back, my friends. I'm so excited to be here with you today. Today we're going to be talking about

0:39.0

kind of like I always say one of my favorite things. But I love to talk about this because we are,

0:45.5

if you're listening to this on Drop Day, it is the month of December. And most people,

0:51.9

whenever I say most people, like I want want to go, I'm not most people,

0:54.9

they treat December, I don't know, like a throwaway month. Like it's a warm up lap, like it doesn't

1:01.6

really count. But here's you. The people listening to this podcast, the people committed to leveling up, you are not most people. And so December

1:15.8

isn't a month you're going to serve. I love December. Like I am Christian. This is the birth of

1:22.0

Jesus. So no matter what holiday you're in like, it's gift it's family it's friends but when it comes to

1:30.3

business December is a month you seize and so I want to talk about my first December of being an

1:38.6

entrepreneur so I started my business May 30th I came in with a fire in my belly and a fire in my soul.

1:48.1

And so I grew to the top of my company way different than what we talk about as average in our

1:56.7

earning statement. Like my story was not typical, but neither was my work ethic, neither was

2:01.5

my vision. And so I went into what we call qualification for the top level in October.

2:08.9

And you could finish that up in two months or three months. And so the month of November,

2:14.1

it was like, I was wrapping it up. Like, I made a decision. I want to get this done. We had a lot

2:19.4

going on personally in that month. My father-in-law was actually put on hospice. He passed away. It was

2:25.2

Thanksgiving. Like, it was so much going on in the month of November. And people could look at

2:32.2

the time, like, oh my gosh, you worked your business through all of that. Like everybody that had a corporate job, they did too. It's amazing sometimes when you're an entrepreneur. It's like it's viewed as sometimes as it's like selfish or you should pull back. Like we don't pull back in a regular job. So P.S. I finished my qualification. December one, I was at the top level in my company.
