Welcome into another episode of the Locked-on Raiders podcast on this Friday, August 2nd,

2019 back at it after having a day off, was out on Thursday, didn't have a Thursday episode because, well, Wednesday I was at the water slides. And I was at the water slides at Slitterbond. It's kind of close to San Antonio in Texas. And I'll tell you right now, man, that was an all-day affair. So left the house probably about seven something in the morning, got out there and was on the water slides all day long and didn't get back home until almost midnight. So, yeah, please believe I was away from my phone, away from Twitter, away from any kind of Raider news or notes. And so, yeah, it just kind of took a day to recover and get my mind back and get everything back and relax a little bit. So back at it today on this Friday, August 2nd, 2019 for another episode of the Lockdown Raiders podcast.

Going to close out the week really, really strong.

Got a few news and notes that I'm going to pass along here in segment number one.

Segment number two, I actually did an interview Thursday afternoon with Anthony Wooton.

Remember him from Loessportradio.com over in London?

He actually hit me up on Twitter on Thursday and said, hey man, you got a chance to do a little segment with me later on today. And I thought, well, yeah, that's cool. I could do that. I could knock that out. So, yeah, Anthony Wuton, we talked for about 10 to 15 minutes, probably about 10 minutes, actually on Thursday, talked about a hard knocks coming up talk about

Antonio Brown talked about John Gruden and Derek Carr being neighbors when they moved to Vegas and

you know a couple other subjects so you'll hear that in segment number two and then we're going to

654 4693 so, here in segment number one, just want to pass on a few news and notes. A couple transactions, a couple moves that the Raiders have made with their front office as far as grabbing players and putting them on the roster. The Raiders claim wide receiver Jordan LASley, L-A-S-E-Y. I'm not 100% sure how to say his last name. But he was claimed off of waivers from the Ravens. And look, this is not the first time that the Raiders have dipped into Baltimore's team or roster for players. If you remember correctly back in 2018, they grabbed Darren Waller after the game versus the Ravens. He was on their practice

squad. The Raiders claimed him. Now all of a sudden, boom, you fast forward to 2019 training camp.

He looks like he's going to be the starting tied in for the Raiders. Now, he's got to become a lot more consistent than he is right now. He's a hell of an athlete, but he has to be a consistent past catcher. He has to be able to be a blocker. He has a lot of things he's going to have to learn how to do on a

consistent basis.

But from all the reports that everyone who's there at training camp sounds like that Darren Waller is doing some pretty good things and they're pretty impressed with the matchup nightmare that he is. So Laisley or lastly, whatever his name is, or whatever his last name is, and I'll get to, I'll figure it out at some point. I'll do a little bit of research,
