And, uh, I face it folks, a lot has changed since Drew and I last recorded.

Quick question, Drew, how are you, Katie, and Nova holding up?

We're good, nobody is, we haven't killed each other yet, you know,

there's a lot of puzzling going on, a lot of online Mario Kart playing going on but yeah I mean it's just it's a very

weird situation in LA well that's it to have no plans you know that's it

exactly and more to the point point, the whole notion of sheltering in place or social distancing in LA.

I mean, you know, Nance and I were well ahead of the trend.

We've been social distancing since the early 2000s.

You know, but that's when you live at the end of a dirt road in the woods of New Hampshire.

But, you know, like I've been chatting with my daughter, you know, she's been talking about

It's very different out there right now. Yeah, you know, and it's also been like raining heavily in LA.

It's just it's sort of been very apocalyptic.

Yeah.

And I guess to kind of understand how this impacts what we talk about on this

podcast, you know animation and the like I guess we have to sort of go through the

timeline where in a lot of ways the domino that started a lot of things falling.

Wednesday, March 11th when Governor Newsom issued that order about all non-essential gatherings of more than 250 people should be cancelled.

And that's also the day when the animation studios started sending people home.
