Welcome to fine-tuning with Drew Taylor, a one-stop shop when it comes to animation news and commentary. I'm Drew's co-host, entertainment writer Jim Hill, and Mr. Taylor and I are recording this on Tuesday

July 2nd 2019 and the Drew and I have a very busy schedule of blowing our fingers

off with illegal fireworks.

Speaking of things that haven't actually exploded, well at least at the box office,

Toy Story 4, the advertising campaign that at this point really should have been dialed down?

Yeah, I don't know. I just, I was talking with somebody else about this earlier today too,

is that I just keep seeing commercials for this thing in a way that I can't remember the last time I've seen

commercials for a movie that's been out like this and I don't know if that's being

informed by some other part of the company like they're not moving enough toys I mean this is all

pure speculation on my part but it doesn't seem like it caught on like they thought it was

going to and you know we saw earlier box office numbers that this year's cumulative box office is down 10% from last year,

which was kind of a lousy number to begin with.

So yeah, it's a really interesting time for Box Office,

and did you actually end up seeing Toy Story for?
