Kazuki was at the beach in Okanawa and saw an 11-year-old girl and a US soldier get swept out to see in a riptide and

Leaped in the water and tried to aid in the rescue and and the rough surf proved to be too much for Takahashi and he succumbed

But what was interesting is that the US Army this week went out of its way
