So let's get started with explaining why Richard Link later has had a bad week.

I know it's still early in October, which means in theory that we are still months away from award season,

but that's not actually how things work out in Hollywood.

If you want your film to be considered for an award, like say, an Oscar,

and that's what Richard did with his Apollo 10 and a half, a Space Age childhood,

This animated feature used a lot of rotoscoping as it told the tale of a young boy

recalling the 1969 moon landing and then imagining himself traveling there.
