I'm Drew's co-host, entertainment writer Jim Hill, and he and I are recording this show

on Friday, February 11, 2022, which is three days after this year's Academy Award nominations were

announced. On the animation side of the street, there weren't really all that many surprises

were they drew? No, although, you know, I was, I was kind of hoping for a bell in place of

flee because I really, did you actually ever end up seeing that in the theater, Jim?

No, no, and flee intrigues me because I not only nominated for anime and feature, but also

best documentary and best international features. Yes, it's wonderful. It's available on Hulu right

now. Okay. If you haven't watched it yet, but I was kind of hoping Bellowood sneak in for that,

you know, there's always one indie in the group, but obviously that went to flee and flee had a great

a great day and it was also just fun because I was up so early and then I was talking to everyone

who got nothing. No, I don't know. No, it's for you. It's Drew got to talk to the directing team

on in Kanto. You got to speak to the director and the producer of Luca,

likewise Phil Lorde and Mike Miranda from Mitchell's version of the machines and also the folks

from Maria and the dragon, right?
