Well look all right I think as far as back as Pia Zadora and Butterfly, there's always been a question about the golden

gloves. What was it? Starting in the 90s and sort of leading into the 2000s, they became sort of the pre-game show for the Oscars, kind of sort of, right?

Sort of, Jim, but they are also so wildly off base. I mean, part this is the long standing history with corruption and being bought by studios and stars.

The studios and stars boycotted the 2022 and then I want to say in 2023 NBC broke off its 30-year relationship with the Globes.

And so this time around CBS is broadcasting them and they're being streamed internationally by Paramount Plus.

You know, that said, it is worth noting that there are still those who sort of look to the

globes as sort of a hint to where the award season is going to go.
