| 1:05.1 | we picked the least interesting one and flew here to Dallas on the story worthy jet of truth well here we are we are, folks, and we're here because Margo Lightman is here tonight, and she brings forth a topic, finding your match. Finding your match, yes, which is always tricky. Well, it is tricky, but when you do, it really seems to... Right, and it happens very... Seldom quickly, I think people... Well, very seldom, but I mean, when it's right, it's right And you know very quickly. You know, people are like, well, you got to get to know people. Like if you've got to get to know people If you're not necessarily supposed to be with them And you're just, you know, but you want to be with somebody. You know, it's like if you're talking to the right person, you know very quickly that you're talking to the right person. You know what's funny is when I first moved to L.A., I dated this guy and we were dating, but I was also very good friends with my next-door neighbor, Matt. And so Matt always came with Mike and I to, these are very basic names, so I can say these names, Mike and Matt. I know. Ryan, couldn't hang out with the Jamal, could you're racist. But Matt always came along with us, to the movies, to House of Pyes, to the bookstore. I ran a marathon. Matt was at one end, Mike was at the other. I mean, these were... And eventually Matt showed Mike really good friend. Well, no, but what happened was Mike and I split up, and he says to me, I should you not. He says, why don't you just go be with your neighbor? It's obviously who you want to be with. And I thought you were right. And then we were married for 12 years. Yeah. But we had so much fun together, like in the car. And we, I think because he was from Ohio and I'm from Pittsburgh, very similar backgrounds. His father actually grew up on the same street. My mother grew up on in Pittsburgh. So very, very, very similar roots. Eventually, you did turn out to be related. And that's why you had to get a divorce because you turned out that you were cousins. Number one, we're not divorced. You're not, whatever. The point is, we were very similar. We just had so much fun together. Guys were four letters in their name and the first letter is M, you're a pushover four. We just had a great time together. And I really think we were a match. I don't know. Yeah, absolutely. Now, what happened? I don't know. I don't know. I also wanted to address something. |
| 3:10.8 | You were talking about match.com. Here we are in Dallas at match.com. Do you know, I understand there's |
| 3:15.7 | been a big backlash on online dating. Like it has, it's backfired. It's not working at all. |
| 3:23.3 | Well, is it stopped? I was wondering if, did it stop working or did people just decide to listen to the complaints? |
| 3:31.1 | I think all this stuff work is exactly the same all the time. |
| 3:33.9 | It's like, you know, if there's two shark attacks in a week, suddenly the waters of America are infested with sharks. |
