So Ed McCarthy, B.D.K on the show on Friday.

And he gave his review of Horizon and American Saga,

which we learned was part one of four, Kevin Kostner's pet project that apparently he's been trying to get done since

1988 which is the year we graduated from high school. That goes back a long way. I still

can't believe he's using like the mortgage of one of his

houses is collateral to pay for it. That that seems like a wack-a-do idea.

So part one of the movie came out on Friday, I guess.

And it only made $11 million.

And one of the stars of the movie

is Michael Rooker and he's upset that the movie which if I recall Kevin's

description to the movie I mean he gave it a two out of five which you know Kevin is usually generous.

Gave it a dreadful score yes. I believe he said something like the movie goes nowhere

he doesn't even really know what the plot was. That it was a setup. So 181 minute

running time. All right, that's over three hours.

And it's not necessarily a great plot. To me, that's a big reason why it didn't do well,

but what Michael Rooker said, do we have the audio? We don't have the audio. I have the quote. He says,

It's real cinema, folks. So be prepared. We're used to that S. We're used to 90 minute movies.

Everything is 90 minutes. Give me a break. Get over that S. Let's watch a movie that actually tells a story where you learn about people and grow to like them or hate them.

It's not all fast and cut cut cut cut and he says that it's a tick-tockified audience.

I mean it's definitely true.

Maybe something you agree with that totally? I mean I don't know totally but to a large extent yeah

If a movie is really good and it's three hours long I'm cool to sit through it
