John, it is tax season.

Now, I don't know when people are going to be listening to this, but right now we're starting to get into tax season.

1099s are starting to show up in the mail.

We're starting to think about, oh, we've got to build this file and turn it into our tax

advisor.

Never a fun time of the year.

Nope. Especially for those who are going to end up owing a lot in taxes and maybe you know that

you haven't made the quarterly payments that you need to. There's that. Yes. But you know,

there is a more frustrating part of retirement than paying my fair share if there is such a thing.

Right. Well, yeah, let's go ahead and define that. Let's not argue about that right now.

What I have found so frustrating about tax season in the last several years is trying to make sure that

that individual who is helping me with my taxes, that I pay a few thousand dollars a year to is actually doing the job

that I think they are doing. And I know tax advisors aren't the only ones that have this

stigma on them, that they're just processing papers. I know attorneys sometimes have that.

I mean, you've talked about it, right? Yeah, yeah, absolutely. At the bottom of the wheel,

there was the web address where they printed it all. Right. Yeah, absolutely. Financial advisors,

right? A lot of people think they're just plugging crap into software and showing me this

probability of success and getting my money for 1% a year. But taxes is one of those things that,

I mean, it's a little different too, because those laws are always changing.

Situations are often changing, especially if you're a business owner, right?
