Choices. Choices can give us an incredible amount of freedom, but too many choices can block us

for making a decision. Well, Christopher Reeve was an American actor best known for his movie portrayal

of Superman. But in 1995, he became paralyzed from the neck down following a horse riding accident.

Well, in an interview, he once shared how it's always a shock in the morning when he wakes up and

realizes where he is. He thinks, this can't be my life. There's been a mistake. He said, but every

morning, I face a choice. I choose to have hope because once you choose hope, anything is possible.

Well, the theme of this meditation from Proverbs 12 is Choosing Hope.

When facing the option every morning, I'd choose the hope found in the godly way.

We will be together for about 15 minutes, so begin your meditation by just softening your gaze

and taking deep, slow breaths from your belly. As your eyes close, consent to surrender this time to

choosing the hope of God's way, the desire of the Holy Spirit, and the confidence of Christ.

Start by listening and responding to this prayer of assurance from Psalm chapter 15 and 16,

and respond, Heavenly Father, help me choose your way.

A man has joy in giving an appropriate answer. How good and delightful is a word spoken at the

right moment. Heavenly Father, help me choose your way. A heartful of joy and goodness makes

a cheerful face, but when a heart is full of sadness, the Spirit is crushed.

Heavenly Father, help me choose your way. Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet and delightful

to the soul and healing to the body. Heavenly Father, help me choose your way.
