Well, you know, your work in this area has been really groundbreaking.

And I wanted to know what had made you interested in studying this topic to begin with. Well, you know, for me,

it really started as a personal journey. I learned meditation and the woman who taught my

meditation class talked a lot about the importance of self-compassion. And so I started, you know,

changing the way related to myself, being a bit kinder, more
