And I'm really approaching this specifically through the example of golden seal.

I recently got a question from a student that was really wanting to work with

Golden Seal for a client. This client had, you know, what we might refer to as a relaxed

tissue state in the mucosal membranes and that's a really great scenario for

great scenario i mean obviously this person wasn't feeling very well but that's really the the

situation where golden seal is classically used you know modern herbalism we tend to think of it

as a natural antibiotic but traditionally this was primarily a remedy used as a mucosal membrane tonic.

But this student of mine really didn't want to use golden seal primarily because it's so basically endangered.

Obviously you can find ethically cultivated golden seal and things like that.

But, so that's really what the discussion is all about today is, you know, really talking about
