Today on a special Snap Judgment, we're going to shake it up. In collaboration with the New York

Times, we pursue a family mystery, a mystery that began decades ago. 1962 in a small suburb

outside of Chicago, Illinois, but we began a generation later. When Amy Sandberg was quite literally

cleaning out her mother's closet. Snap Judgment.

As we got to kind of towards the end of the closet, up to the top shelves, I reached around a feel

for anything to see if there's anything we had missed. I found a plastic bag and I pulled it down

and there inside the bag was a very small white, what appeared to be baptismal dress. I knew
