For today, we are in Philippians chapter one. Now, I filled the pulpit for my dad,

maybe it was a month ago or so, and I was in Philippians chapter two. And so my dad

teaches front to back. I go back to front because we're in Philippians 1 today. So we're going

backwards. But I taught Philippians chapter 2 last month, and then I read Philippians 1.. So we're going backwards. But I taught Philippians chapter 2 last month,

and then I read Philippians 1. I was like, why did I, why did I skip this? This is just so

spiritually rich. And so we're going to read Philippians chapter 1 today. I'm going to ask that you

stand for the reading of God's word.

You thought you got away without standing.

Oh, no, greeting.

Yes.

I got you.

I found a way.

Philippians 1.

Let's read the first 11 verses together.

Now, this is Paul writing to the church at Philippi. He says in verse 1, Paul and Timothy, bond servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in

Philippi with the bishops and deacons. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mind making

request for you all with joy for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until

now.

Verse 6.

Being confident of this very thing that he who has begun a good work in you

will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Can someone say amen?
