Hello and welcome back to Socrates 101.

Part two in some ways, or take two, I should say.

We had some technical difficulties the last time we tried to cover this topic with regard to how Calvinism shows compassion for and help and comfort during the time of grief when a non-elect person, a lost person,

who is a loved one dies. And this is an interaction with Trip Lee and John Piper, both of which I

have had interactions with in my ministry in the past, both of which I consider to be good

brothers in Christ, both of which I highly esteem and their work and their ministries.

But I simply disagree with them with regard to the doctrines of Calvinism.

And that's what we're contending with on this program.

Calvinism is spreading, and it is being more widely accepted through other nations and other parts of the world.

As I'm hearing reports from Spain and South Africa, India, and many other locations where Calvinism is really taking root and causing some division among the missionary work in those areas.

And we're simply trying to put out more information like the Calvinist has done on the Internet so well.

We're trying to put out more information out there from the other side to say there are some very deep intellectual scholarly resources available

for those of us who don't consider ourselves to be Calvinistic in our sociology. And that's what

we're trying to do with respect to those who disagree with us. But at the same time, a firm, exegetical,

biblical response to show what we believe are logical fallacies, exegetical fallacies, from those on the Calvinistic side.
