Sue Thomas was an expert at reading Lips. It got her a job at the FBI and that inspired a TV program.

But she says none of those things defined her.

The conversation we've been listening to over the past few days was a first for

Nancy. She'd never conducted an interview with someone who couldn't hear her

questions until she met Sue Thomas an expert lip reader. Sue has since

gone to be with the Lord but her testimony continues to be so powerful. Here's

Nancy and I have to say that this interview is one of the sweetest

that I can remember having in a very long time. Now let's review just a little bit of

what we've heard from Sue the last couple of days. When you got out of college, you wanted to find a job, but it wasn't very easy.

It wasn't one person that was willing to hire me.

I couldn't answer the phone and there was a

fight because I was deaf I wouldn't understand I would make mistakes and I

ended up going back to the same hearing and speech clinic that taught me

to speak and I pounded on their doors asking for a job I know they

felt sorry for me why they heard me even without a job I was like a gopher a jack of all trains and I can remember some days of

taking paper clips out of one box and sticking them in another closet

always my job but God was still writing the chapter of my life
