admit we just did something yesterday that in some states would have been against the law.

Oh my gosh. We took our youngsters out, seven-year-old, ten-year-old out, shoot sporting clays.

Ten-year-old was sporting a little Mossburg pump.

We don't own the Mossburg pump,

we borrowed it from a friend.

And here's what's interesting.

If we lived in a state that had the so-called

universal background checks, that would actually be a crime. For that person to

loan us a gun to let this 10-year year old girl go out and shoot this little shotgun

without going through a federal

background check with the FBI to loan this gun for her to go shoot safely.

That is a crime in some states.

Unbelievable.

And for those who say, well, I don't mind the background check. Well, you should.

If you look at what a universal, so-called universal background check is, it basically just bans the private sale of guns and the private transfer of guns and many times even the loaning of a gun to a friend so a 10 year old could go have a chance for her to shoot.

Just the realities of it, you've got to keep yourself informed.
