0:09.5	I really connected when you started to speak about the grief you felt when your mom passed and the love
0:15.4	of your parents and elders. And you said a lot that day about being a good person in terms of like a child to your
0:22.5	parents and calling them. And unfortunately, three years ago, my mom died from pancreatic cancer.
0:28.0	And I connected with you a lot. And I wanted to ask you, how did losing your mom maybe change
0:33.5	the way you show up for other people that you love or the people in your business or in your
0:38.7	life. Yeah. Thank you for sharing that. And I know how much and how it comes in waves. It's only
0:45.2	been a few months. It's really hard. Yeah. It's only been a few months for me. And I can imagine it
0:50.1	still comes in waves. And that's the lesson that I learned. It's how blessed I was because I
0:55.8	remember leaving the hospital, the hospice, when I knew my mom was going to pass. And my wife,
1:03.0	I had a beautiful ending to our human relationship. My mom, I had recently been acknowledged
1:09.2	with the honorary doctorate and I got to tell my mom that I made it because she told me I was either going to be a doctor, a lawyer, or a failure.
1:18.0	And I told her, probably, I'm all three. And she said, I'm so proud of you, especially because you're such a good failure. And I love it. And so when I left with my wife,
1:30.0	my wife said, are you going to be okay when she passes? And I said, oh yeah, of course, my dad had
1:35.1	passed. What a beautiful way to end our relationship here. I'll see her, you know, hopefully not
1:39.4	too soon, but I'll see her eventually again and be a part of her spirit. And when the next morning happened and I found out...
1:47.2	Oh, it was right away after?
1:49.8	Yeah, the reminder, the remembrance and recollection of my favorite lesson,
1:56.5	which is you're either humble or you're about to be.
2:00.5	And in the passing of my mom, the lesson was when she told me, when I lost everything,
2:08.0	and I told her I didn't have any faith that God was punishing me, I didn't believe in God.
