And here's a question for you, because sometimes, even though the promises are true,

they don't always feel true. And especially if you're walking through kind of a valley of a shadow,

if your soul is parched, maybe you're there now.

Are you in a spiritually dry season? Have you lost your sense of expectancy? I have some good news for you.

My guest today writes this. Dry seasons and droughts are not meant to dehydrate or kill us.

They are opportunities for us to get up and search out fresh water. Do you see that? That's an

invitation. Drought causes us to thirst for the search out fresh water. Do you see that? That's an invitation.

Drought causes us to thirst for the right things again. We learn that movement is important.

We can't linger in the same pool for too long or the water will become stagnant.

Sometimes the well has to dry up, so we'll get moving in a new direction.

We need fresh water to grow and to flourish. New direction means new seasons. Our seasons in life are not meant to last forever. I'm just thinking that is a word-induced for somebody today.
