So my first experience of the Bay Area weather was when I transferred from sunny San Diego to San Quinn prison.

And I remember the first time it rained. Me and my buddies were outside.

We were all from Southern California.

And it rained so hard.

Like, it felt like the rain was coming sideways and up.

I mean, I feel like the rain came from every single angle.

And I just remember saying like,

oh, like where are we?

Like, this cannot be California.

I feel like I was in the rainforest.

Do you feel differently about that weather now?

You know, I've come to embrace it, especially now that I'm out, because obviously I can put on more layers. But it's just something about the Bay Area that in certain places that I go, like in the Redwoods and Oakland,

I went there on a kind of wet day and like the mist, the rain.

It was just like falling off the leaves.

And it was just so beautiful just to see that.

So I love the rain.

I love the fog and I love the wind.

And I especially love it when I can bundle up.
