So today we're presenting three short stories, all loosely connected to an overarching theme, Finding Center.

What does Finding Center mean, you may ask? Well, hopefully by the end of the show,

you'll have your own conclusions. This is Hibbe Fisher, and you're listening to Kearning

This is a story about finding yourself in the reflection of a horse.

Let's begin.

I want you to meet Kelly.

Hi, I'm Kelly Idy.

Is that how you say it?

Yeah. I never knew. It's like Heidi, but no age.

I always would pronounce it like AIDS, like the holiday. And everybody thinks that then I will be Lebanese.

And then I show up and they're like, wait, you're not who we were expecting.

I'm just me, the little American from Norwegian roots.

And Kelly is a horse whisperer.

Actually that's not true.

Often people will call the clinicians who work in that field horse whispers,

which is such a misnomer because there's no whispering.

If you're talking to a horse, it's for you. It's for you.
