Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last Searchlight program, we began talking about spiritual gifts. Specifically, we are looking at finding

and focusing on your specific spiritual gift. Our primary text is from Acts chapter 6, where the

apostles recognized that their gift and their priority was prayer and the word. As we pick up our teaching today, we are looking at a list of spiritual gifts in Romans 12,

and we are also considering the manifestation of gifts that are listed in 1 Corinthians 12.

Additionally, we are looking at ministries that are listed in Ephesians 4.

It breaks down perfectly and orderly.

Now, not everyone will function in these 1st Corinthians 12, what we call, I think, a little bit inaccurately, charismatic gifts.

I believe that that is not the best term to use. Not everyone operates in these.

Many people are closed saying these are not for today. There's no more miracles possible.
