Microsoft shares climbing more than 2% to close at a record high.

It added 56 billion dollars in market cap today

and is now less than 7% away from breaking the $3 trillion mark. The latest move coming

after Microsoft hired former open AI CEO Sam Altman to lead its new AI team.
