On Tuesday night, the four-day-long manhunt for the suspect involved in a mass shooting was brought to an end. The suspect, 38-year-old Mexican immigrant Francisco Oropesa is accused of killing five of his neighbors in a mass shooting in Cleveland, Texas Friday night. Oropesa opened fire after one of his neighbors asked him to stop firing his gun so that his children could sleep. Retired Chief Inspector and Commander of the U.S. Marshals' New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force Lenny DePaul shares details of the manhunt and explains what goes into law enforcement's intensive search for fugitives. As one of the Regional Fugitive Task Force's original members, Lenny DePaul oversaw hundreds of arrests and investigated some of the U.S. Marshals' most-wanted fugitives. During his time with the Marshals Service, DePaul was given numerous awards, including the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation's Investigator of the Year award, as well as the Attorney General's Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement. 0:53.3	Thank you. On Friday, April 28, 2023, Wilson Garcia was home in Cleveland, Texas, struggling to put his young baby to sleep as loud gunshots rang out from his neighbor's yard.
1:00.6	Mr. Garcia approached his neighbor, Francisco Oripeza, asking him to please shoot further away so that his child could sleep.
1:03.2	Oropesa refused, saying he could do whatever he wanted on his own property.
1:08.3	Mr. Garcia returned home to his family, where he and his wife,
1:11.5	Sonia Argentina-Gusman, went on to call the police. And while the dispatcher assured help was on
1:17.5	the way, Oropesa appeared at the Garcia residence and shot and killed Sonia. The horror continued
1:24.7	as Oropesa moved through the house.
1:33.3	He shot and killed Wilson's nine-year-old son, Daniel Enrique Laso, and then shot and killed 18-year-old Jose Jonathan Cesaras.
1:36.3	He killed 21-year-old Diana Velazquez Alvarado and 31-year-old Julisa Molina Rivera.
1:43.6	Diana and Julisa lost their lives shielding young children who survived the attack.
1:49.4	Francisco Oripesa then fled the scene following that vicious attack on his neighbors,
1:54.3	leading law enforcement on a four-day manhunt.
1:57.5	The following Tuesday night, Orapesa was apprehended by authorities, found hidden among laundry
2:03.1	in a closet, in a home just miles away from the crime scene.
2:07.8	Oropesa, a Mexican illegal immigrant, had a criminal history and had been deported four times,
