Hey guys, this is Brent Nallis from the Prosecutors Podcast and this is a prosecutor's

short.

We've done four episodes on the Delphi case, but for those of you who don't have time

to listen to six hours of discussion, here's our take away.

Abbey Williams and Libby German were murdered in Delphi, Indiana on February 13, 2017.

They were best friends who spent all their time together.

They had a day off from school that day and Libby's sister Kelsey dropped them at the entrance

to the Delphi trails leading to the Monon High Bridge, an old abandoned railroad bridge

crossing deer creek.

The bridge is not part of the trail, but it's a popular place to take photos and due to

the scary nature of the rickety, old and very high bridge, a place for young people, like

Libby and Abbey to experience the thrill of crossing it.

That day, Libby and Abbey weren't alone.

In fact, it was a nice warm day for February and there were at least 50 people on the trails.

One of them has come to be known as Bridge Guy and he is believed to be the person who

killed, Abbey and Libby.

He's called Bridge Guy because Libby surreptitiously recorded him as he crossed the Monon High Bridge

coming towards the girls.

Abbey and Libby had already crossed the bridge, but they were at a dead end where the trail

ended.

Their only options were to cross the bridge while the strange man was on it.

Go off trail into the woods or wait.
