So let's talk about money. I get a lot of questions from readers and listeners about finances

and navigating when you feel broke or when you're totally unfulfilled in your job or you're

up to your ears and debt. Somebody women reach out to me and they're like, do you have any

tips for making a little extra income or just anything when it comes to finances because I think

it can be so easy to have a really bad or just kind of damaged view of money depending on how

we were raised. I've talked about this a little bit on social media not too long ago and it's been

crazy to me how much response I've gotten from so many readers and DMs and messages and comments

and people saying things like, oh my gosh, I needed this perspective so often I feel bad for being

strategic or savvy or intentional with money or for asking for payment or trying to make a little

extra income. We have this idea that it's somehow bad but before I even dive into a few tips that I

have if you're feeling just broke or stressed out about finances in any way or just in any way

feeling overwhelmed by the idea, I think it can really begin with our mindset toward it. Not only

is it a circumstantial thing but it can also kind of be a mindset thing and I think sometimes we

look at it as like we shouldn't have more of it. I'm not saying like be greedy and chase after it

and make that like your you know end all but the reality is money is a tool and if you're gonna use

or you're gonna make money you may as well make it well you may as well be smart about how you do it

and also how you use it right because I feel like if we're being intentional I saw someone say

says 90% of women who have any kind of extra money are most likely to give it to churches,

nonprofits, causes they believe it and to give back so it's not bad for you to think about maybe I
