Late last year, we got an email from a listener we're calling Kora.

My husband and I recently hit a pretty intense rough patch

regarding our financial life, mental health, and the trust and our relationship in general.

It's brought about a lot of important growth for both of us, but at great expense,

literally and figuratively.

Kora is 26. She lives near Detroit with her husband.
