Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing to teach on financial stewardship.

And I tell you this is powerful.

God has blessed me.

You know, I've been poor, probably poor than most people watching this program.

Now that's a big statement and we broadcast all around the world.

So I'm sure there's plenty of people that have been worse off than I was.

But I've been worse off than most people in America.

Not because I was raised poor, but because of religious thinking that calls me to operate in poverty.

And I mean, I've gone without food weeks at a time.

And I've had people from foreign nations say, well, what's wrong?

Doesn't America have a welfare system?

Couldn't you have gone to God help?

Yes, I could have applied for food stamps.

I could have done things.

But man, I just remembered the scripture that says,

I've never seen the righteous forsaking or their seed out begging bread.

...
