Summary

Like many female founders, Rachel Blank, founder of Allara, started the company out of a personal need. After years of struggling with health issues, she was diagnosed with PCOS. Once she tried to seek help from multiple doctor and try a variety of diets nothing seemed to work- she continued to feel alone. After becoming discouraged and frustrated, she found solace in other women with PCOS. She quickly learned this was a far too common experience. So, she built Allara.

At Allara, patients are paired with a physician who specializes in PCOS, along with a Registered Dietitian (RD) to help with optimizing patients' nutrition. You can get everything from prescriptions, to meal plans, to around-the-clock chat/support with your RD. It’s the level of compassionate, specialized care she wishes she'd had years ago—and the care we all deserve. Enjoy!
