week, so we have to talk all about it with our favorite entertainment reporter, the one and only

Kristen Bert. So I feel like I competed last night myself. But before we get there, welcome back to the

podcast. As always, how are you doing? Doing great. The finale is can't believe that we're

finally here. The season just flew by. It really did. And it was a long show. But I kind of, I

mean, I think I watched the whole thing, honestly. As I was getting ready,

I was like, oh, so they're doing like a kind of recapish judge's thoughts, which I actually appreciated.

I have so many feelings about this finale. Would you like to start? First of all, you were right

with your predictions. Like spot on. Yes. And you like to start? First of all, you were right with your predictions.

Crazy. Wasn't that? On. Yes. And you could see how horrible I felt about even putting Chandler and Brandon and third.

I never felt good about that. But I was like, this is how the audience is going to vote.

You think? Even after that powerful freestyle, like the narrative, this is what frustrates me. The narrative had been set

weeks ago. So like the ball was in motion for them not to finish at the very top, even though I think they had the

best freestyle last night. And I think they had the best redemption dance last night. They were on fire.

Like I have my scores here and they were by far. And I and honestly, I think Joey deserves to

win for sure, but his freestyle was not memorable for me. I went back and watched and I thought,

I think he was a little off his game. We've seen him dance at such a high level all season. And I felt like starting to look at things. Like there were some out of sync situations that I was like, oh, okay, I see some things upon second watch even. I just think the structure. It just wasn't there. Like I thought that definitely thought outside of the box, it's always scary to do those lighting effects because it's bound to happen that one of those lighting like in their case, I guess tennis records don't light up.
