Hello and welcome to the Sleepy Bookshelf where we put down our worries from the day and

pick up a good book. We have just finished We Need a Pooh and if you've been listening

along I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. As this is Sleepy Bookshelf, if you fell

asleep before the end and want to know what happened in the last story, this is your

recap. But if you aren't finished with the season, you don't want to know how it ends,

We started the episode with Piglet beginning to get quite worried about the amount of rain

that had been falling in the hundred-acre wood. He wished he wasn't on his own and as

the water level rose he decided to send for Helm. He found an old bottle with a cork in

it and wrote a little note saying Helm, Piglet to pop inside. He then threw it out the window

and watched it bobbing away. Who had evacuated his own home with ten pots of honey and was

now sitting on a branch with only one pot left. He found the old bottle floating below

him and knew he had to get it to Christopher Robin in order to read it. Using his empty

honey pot as a very clever boat, he managed to sail over to Christopher Robin's house

who was chatting with Owl. On reading the note, Christopher Robin sent Owl to let Piglet

know help was on its way. Who came up with the idea of using an umbrella as a two-person

sailboat and they saved Piglet just in time.

In the very last story, Christopher Robin called Owl to tell all his friends in the wood

that he was going to throw a party for Pubeir to celebrate how very clever he had been

in saving Piglet from the flants. Everybody gathered together and was seated around

a long table when Christopher Robin began his speech. He hadn't mentioned Pubeir's

name yet when he paused to look for his gift. In the meantime, Owl who thought he was being
