Hello and welcome to the sleepy bookshall, where we put down our worries from the day and pick up a good book.

In our last episode we read the final pages of Treasure Island. I'm so pleased we got around to this one.

We don't often read such adventurous stories as this,

so I hope you liked it as much as I did.

The superstitious pirates stopped to take a rest on their way to the treasure.

It was then they heard Flint's old song,

15 men on a dead man's chest.

The colour drained from all their faces, a silver mustered his courage,

to remind them Flint was dead, and it was likely someone playing a trick. Then the voice returned,

calling out for Darby McGraw, Flint's old hand.

This sent some over the edge.

No one but those aboard the walrus should have known about Darby.

Then occurred to Silver that it must be the old maruna, Ben Gunn, and they all agreed that no one could be

afraid of Ben, dead or alive. They began now to race towards the burial site, Silver, pulling on

Jim's rope as he struggled to keep up, all the while glaring at him
